2011-2012 Redemptions Quick Guide

What are Redemptions? Redemptions are a simple way you can help raise money for our school. Companies who provide redemption opportunities include: Box Tops for Education, Campbell's Labels for Education, Escrip, Fresh & Easy, Target's Take Charge of Education, and Fry's Cool Cash. See below for more details.

	You can clip 10 cent BoxTops coupons from hundreds of your favorite products such as Cheerios, Betty Crocker, Ziploc and Kleenex. Go online to www.boxtops4education for a complete list. In addition to clipping BoxTops, earn cash for our school every time you shop for groceries or shop online at the BoxTops Marketplace. Just visit the website www.boxtops4education and sign up, select our school (Palm Valley Elementary, AZ), then click on Marketplace, and begin shopping. Choose from quality stores like Lands End and Gap. Our school receives a donation of up to 8% from your qualifying purchase.
	The Labels for Education program is a great way to get FREE merchandise for our school and it's even better this year. Participating in the program is easy - simply save proofs of purchase (UPC) from participating Campbell products (soups, Goldfish crackers, V8 and Prego) and send them to school with your student(s). Visit www.labelsforeducation.com for a complete list of products, point values, and more information about the program.
	eScrip is a hassle-free way for schools to raise funds through everyday purchases made at eScrip merchants such as Safeway, Macy's, OfficeMax, and Shutterfly, just to name a few. Log onto www.escrip.com to sign up. Designate our group to receive contributions. Our Group ID is # 6549755. Register your grocery club cards from a participating merchant and your debit, ATM and credit cards if you wish. That's it! Visit eScrip merchants to shop. It's automatic. We can potentially receive hundreds of dollars from your participation alone.
	For every $20 spent at your local fresh&easy from September 15 - December 31, our school will get a $1 cash donation. The more you spend, the more money you can raise for PVE! Simply turn in your original cash register receipts to your classroom teacher at any time before January 15th, 2012. Our closest fresh&easy is at the NorthEast corner of Dysart and Thomas Rds. 	Help us help our school through the Target Take Charge of Education program. All you have to do is use your Target Visa or Target Card, and a percentage of the amount of each purchase you make goes back to our school in the form of a cash donation from Target twice a year. Just visit www.target.com/tcoe or call 1-800-316-6142 to designate our school. Our school ID# is 110767.
	With your help, your child's school can earn up to $2,000 in cash rebates from Fry's Food Stores. Simply take the bar code on the other side of this handout and your VIP card to the customer service counter at your local Fry's. "COOL CA$H" runs from September 1, 2011 to April 21, 2012. Once your V.I.P card has been signed up, every time you use your card, all of your purchases will automatically be credited to your child's school. We also participate in Fry's Gift Card program. Box Top Shop Guidelines

Box Tops and Campbell's Labels are collected monthly at our Box Top Shop, located on the south end of the playground. These will typically be held on the Thursday before the Patriotic Assembly. Students will receive instant prizes for turning in their Box Tops. Reminders will be given during collection weeks and dates will be posted on the PTO website.

The first BOX TOP SHOP will be on Thursday, August 25 at 7:30 AM

The guidelines for turning in boxtops for a prize are:
~ Regular Box Tops ($.10 value) MUST be in baggies of 25 or 50. We will not be collecting loose Box Tops.
~ Please clearly mark baggie with a 25 or 50, as well as your child's name and teacher.
~ There will be a separate bin for "Bonus" Box Tops. These do not need to be bagged.
~ A prize will be given for Bonus Box Tops totaling 20 points or more.
~ Thunderpaws, our stuffed mascot, will continue to visit the classroom that collects the most Box Tops each month, with the top class for the year receiving a prize at the end of the year.

We will still be collecting Campbell's UPC's and Fresh & Easy receipts, although prizes will not be awarded for these items. There will be a special bin during collection mornings for these items or they may be dropped off in the PTO office. 1. Purchase a $5 Reloadable Gift Card from Palm Valley PTO. It comes with $5 loaded on it already!
2. Load gift card at the register BEFORE you start your food transaction.
